It’s a site where you can book flights, compare ticket-prices of different airlines, rent cars, reserve hotel rooms and so on. The timing may be good for Microsoft’s move to take over Yahoo. With interest rates down by 1.25% within less than two weeks and almost 20 billion in cash and cash equivalents, Microsoft is well prepared to have easy play with Yahoo, whose share price is down to levels unseen since fall 2003.
